Net Blocker Terms of Use
Effective: August 31, 2026
Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Net Blocker mobile application, developed by Jasim Khan. By downloading, installing, or using Net Blocker, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
Current Service
Net Blocker is a local-first utility that lets users select applications and block their internet access on supported Android devices. Android routes packets from selected applications into a local VPN interface, where Net Blocker discards them instead of forwarding them to a remote VPN server.
Net Blocker is not an anonymity service, location-changing VPN, antivirus product, malware detector, emergency service, or guarantee of network security.
The current iOS version provides platform-capability and limitation information but does not provide consumer per-application network blocking.
Eligibility and Supervision
Net Blocker is intended for a general audience. If you are below the age required by local law to agree to these Terms, use the application only with the permission or supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or legal guardian who permits a child to use Net Blocker is responsible for supervising that use and reviewing the relevant device permissions and application selections.
VPN Permission and Device Controls
Android blocking requires approval through Android's VPN permission interface. Active protection also depends on foreground-service operation, notifications, device policies, battery-management rules, and the availability of Android's VPN facilities.
You control permissions through your operating-system settings. Denying or revoking a required permission may prevent Net Blocker from starting or continuing protection.
You are responsible for selecting the correct applications, reviewing the active VPN indicator and notification, and stopping protection when you no longer want blocking to continue.
Other VPNs and Platform Limitations
Android generally permits only one active VPN service for a user at a time. Another VPN, an Always-on VPN, lockdown mode, device-management policy, security application, operating-system restriction, or manufacturer customization may prevent Net Blocker from operating or may replace its VPN connection.
Per-application controls, reboot restoration, notifications, and background operation can differ by device, Android version, iOS version, and policy configuration. Net Blocker does not guarantee identical availability or behavior on every device.
Safe and Lawful Use
You are responsible for using Net Blocker safely and lawfully and only on devices you own or control or are authorized to administer.
You must not use Net Blocker to interfere unlawfully with another person's communications, evade a legal or contractual obligation, disrupt a device you are not authorized to control, test or attack networks without permission, or violate another person's rights.
Do not rely on Net Blocker as the sole control for protecting sensitive systems, enforcing parental or workplace policies, preventing data loss, blocking malware, or responding to an emergency.
Local Data and Deletion
Net Blocker stores preferences, application selections, service state, and local activity on your device as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your device and for reviewing or changing those selections.
You can unblock applications, stop protection, use the available local-data controls, clear the application's storage through system settings, or uninstall Net Blocker. Clearing storage or uninstalling may permanently remove local settings and activity and may not be reversible.
No Accounts, Subscription, or Remote VPN Service
The current release does not provide Net Blocker accounts, paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, cloud synchronization, or a Net Blocker-operated remote VPN server.
Internet service, device charges, application-store terms, and any services used by other applications remain your responsibility.
Application License and Acceptable Use
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Net Blocker for personal or otherwise authorized lawful purposes on devices you own or control.
You may not misuse the application, interfere with its operation or security, distribute malicious modifications, misrepresent its capabilities, or copy, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Net Blocker except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot be restricted by contract.
Intellectual Property
Net Blocker's original branding, interface, graphics, and written content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party libraries, operating-system components, names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to separate licenses or terms.
Third-Party Services and Stores
Net Blocker relies on Android and iOS facilities and open-source software libraries. Application stores, operating systems, device manufacturers, and services used by other applications operate under their own terms and policies.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party availability, device policies, store decisions, operating-system changes, network-provider behavior, or another application's operation.
Availability, Updates, and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Net Blocker features to improve the application, address defects, respond to platform or policy changes, or meet technical or legal requirements.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available on every device, operating-system version, region, or application-store distribution.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Net Blocker is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, packet blocking, application discovery, background execution, restoration after reboot, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Blocking and status information may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted, or affected by device settings, operating-system behavior, VPN conflicts, updates, battery restrictions, network configuration, or device policies.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jasim Khan and Net Blocker will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the application, including unexpected connectivity, failed blocking, interruption of another VPN, missed communications, data charges, device issues, or reliance on status information.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited or excluded.
Ending Use
You may stop using Net Blocker at any time, stop protection, revoke VPN permission, clear application storage, and uninstall the application.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and other provisions that by their nature should continue will survive the end of your use.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Net Blocker, platform capabilities, or applicable requirements. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
Your continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree with an update, stop using and uninstall Net Blocker.
